Transparency for AI-generated content
Detailing1 uses artificial intelligence for some of its product and shop images. As a deployer within the meaning of Article 50 of the EU AI Act, we label this content clearly and consistently.
How we label
AI-generated or AI-modified images bear the official labels of the European Commission:
- AI GENERATED — the image was created entirely with artificial intelligence.
- AI MODIFIED — a real image was modified with artificial intelligence.
The label appears as a clearly visible tag directly on the image. For some of the images, the label is also permanently embedded (“burned in”) into the image file — it therefore remains visible even if the image is downloaded, shared, or displayed outside of this shop.
Our responsibility
Detailing1, as the operator of this shop, is responsible for this labeling. Every labeling decision is documented internally with a timestamp and the name of the person responsible for the processing, so that we can fulfill our obligation to provide proof under Article 50 of the EU AI Act at any time.
