Brush dry, spray, work in fiber direction

Nubuk Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) is sprayed evenly onto the suede from a distance of 20–30 cm with a spray bottle and worked into the fiber direction with a soft brush. After drying, brush again for the typical velour look.

Before care, the suede is dry-brushed with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush to remove dust and ingrained dirt. Then, it is damp-cleaned with a special suede cleaner and allowed to dry completely. Only then is Nubuk Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) sprayed from a distance of 20–30 cm — avoid puddles, spread immediately.

The color is worked into the fiber direction with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush until the pigmentation is evenly distributed. After 30–45 minutes of drying, the leather is lightly brushed again so that the fibers stand up and the typical velvety-matte velour appearance is created. A 250 ml bottle is sufficient for about 4–5 care applications in mid-range vehicles with Alcantara steering wheel and suede seats.

Nubuk Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) is exclusively for rough-textured natural leathers — suede, nubuck, velour, and Alcantara. Pigmented Mercedes-Benz smooth leathers are treated with Leather Colour or Leather Fresh.

The special carrier solution with finely pigmented dyes combines with the rough fiber structure without matting or weighing it down. On smooth pigmented leather, Nubuk Fresh would adhere unevenly because the typical fiber structure is missing — the care would appear patchy rather than even. On aniline leather, the fiber would not be sufficiently protected; here, aniline-specific COLOURLOCK lines are needed.

If the Mercedes-Benz vehicle has genuine suede seats, an Alcantara steering wheel, or velour door panels, Nubuk Fresh is the only correct care product. If the interior, however, consists of pigmented smooth leather, Leather Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) or Leather Colour (Mercedes-Benz) is used. For mixed equipment (suede seats, smooth leather doors), both products are used in parallel.
